Restoration work on Vampire A79-637 is now back on track under the project management of HARS member Terry Wilson.  A special Vampire Quarantine area has been established and marked out to ensure no unwanted parts or materials contaminate the restoration workspace.

The rear booms of the Vampire have been successfully removed and are now freestanding.  The next task at hand for Terry and his team will be the removal of the Goblin turbojet engine for inspection and restoration.  Following the removal of the engine, the wings will be removed, with detailed inspections to follow.
