The HARS DC4 recovery team have this week achieved an important milestone, with the running of all four engines at Brisbane’s Archerfield Airport. With the first of a series of four engine runs now completed the DC-4 recovery team will focus their energies on the outstanding issues that will require completion prior to the delivery/ferry flight. Congratulations to the team and we’re all looking forward to seeing this rare bird take flight again.

I remember watching the DC4 doing circuits above my house at Nathan when it was flying commercially back in the 1990′s. It is terrific to see that it is back in the air again.
