HARS recently acquired the cockpit and cabin section, forward of the wings, of former QANTAS VH-EAG/RAAF A20-627.   HARS members, with Project Manager Mike De La Hunty have quickly cleaned up the outside of the airframe that was covered in algae growth and the interior that was full of rubbish and bird items.  The relocation of the airframe was only possible with the help of trucking firms, crane firms and International Air Parts (IAP) CEO Steve Ferris.  With the arrival of the parts/instruments and seats donated from IAP, work has started with the reinstallation of the cabin interior to make an interesting show for the public.  The enclosed photos show the visual progress that has been made.  The fuselage will add a great visitor and educational exhibit to HARS.
