The museum is now open every day (except Christmas Day) from 09:30 to 15:30.
If you live anywhere in the currently defined Greater Sydney you can visit.
There are Conditions of Entry imposed by the NSW Government.

Visitors need to be “Double Vaccinated”, with documented proof – or documentation validating why they are unable to be vaccinated. Visitors also need to wear a mask while in the museum, and maintain appropriate social distancing. Full details of the reopening arrangements can be found here.
