Museum Entrance Fees

HARS Aviation Museum Australia (HARS) is an all volunteer run world-class museum that showcases a significant portion of Australia’s civil and military aviation heritage.

The museum sites at Shellharbour and Parkes Airports have a collection of about 80 aircraft, and other aviation memorabilia.  Of the approximately 50 aircraft at Shellharbour, nearly 20 are airworthy.  They are serviced and supported by a loyal band of volunteer engineers, pilots, and enthusiasts.

The museums are funded by a combination of public visitors, together with some generous supporters and benefactors.  Apart from occasional small grants, no income is derived from the various governments.

Like most modern “businesses” HARS has rising costs, so after many years the Shellharbour site has been forced to increase entrance fees for visitors to the museum.

From Tuesday, 1st July 2025 the following museum entrance fees apply:

Adult (15 years and older):                        $35

Concession:                                                  $30

Child (5-14 years):                                      $15

Family (2 adults and up to 4 children): $80
