A team of hard working volunteers led by ex TAA engineer Reg Barker has restored Piaggio P166 ex VH MMP to static display condition for museum display. This aircraft had many owners in Australia including ANSETT Airlines for a short while and is restored in the colors it wore during ANSETT ownership. Our Piaggio has now resumed her former roles of outside display at the end of runway 16 where she can be admired by all who pass by, and as a cockpit visit aircraft during our open cockpit engine run weekends at the museum..
