At an Extraordinary Council Meeting on Monday 9 February 2015, Shellharbour City Council unanimously approved a proposal for a licence and associated lease for the delivery, storage and display of Boeing 747-438 VH-OJA, City of Canberra. Needless to say HARS is very excited about this event and the support provided by the Council for the ongoing display of this important part of Australia’s aviation history. Hard work is now required to prepare the site in time for the delivery, hopefully some time in March.
