Navy Heritage Flight – 06 October 2019 Update

Since its arrival at HARS Albion Park Tracker 844 has been run regularly with no major issues and we have also restored “Navy” to both sides of the airframe.

The CONTINUED good news is that Tracker 844 has settled quickly to its new ‘home’ at HARS Albion Park Rail airport and subject to technical availability, is planned to fly again at our October Tarmac weekend (12 Oct) as well as the mid-week Tracker re-union in October, (see enclosed report).

ANNUAL INSURANCE COSTS

It was advised in the last two reports that the total insurance bill for the 9 (nine) NHF airframes for liability and Hangar keepers’ insurance this coming year is $5,300 (which includes the Tracker in flight status).

WE ARE DELIGHTED TO REPORT THAT CONTRIBUTIONS FROM THE FAA ASSOCIATION (NSW BRANCH) AND ALSO FROM A GENEROUS (ex RANHF) SPONSOR have now covered the Tracker insurance aspects fully.

Please contact the NHF Project Leader if you can contribute towards the REMAINING insurance costs – and thanks for your help!

The full weekly report can be read here.
