HARS CATALINA PERFORMS LANDINGS ON LAKE ILLAWARRA THURSDAY 3 MAY (click for more)

 

 

During the lead up to Wings Over Illawarra , the HARS Catalina performed spectacular touch and go water landings on Lake Illawarra on Thursday 3rd May. Large and appreciative crowds of people watched the landings from the Lake foreshores and the event featured on WIN news the same night.

    Beautiful.My father trained on PBY aircraft during WW2 at USNAS Pensacola.He would have loved to see this.
