In May 2002 Southern Cross II was badly damaged in an emergency landing.
For more than 10 years Southern Cross II has been at HARS Aviation Museum undergoing repairs to flying condition.
Thanks to a great team of people with a wide range of skills (some learned specifically for this aircraft) Southern Cross II is running and taxiing, and hopefully will be flying later this year.
Thanks to the HARS Media Team for putting together a video story of this latest event. It can be viewed at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x3QPk-ep2Aw.
